Duncan's Cat Food Challenge

posted 08.05.09 at 12:22pm

In a random evening whilst making a pasta bake, Duncan claimed that tinned tuna is pretty the same whether its expensive or in cat food... Naturally I couldn't let him get away with a claim like that without testing it!

Also, last week we were talking about stupid Facebook fan pages and said we should set up a ridiculous one such as being a fan of 'not having swine flu'. Clearly someone was thinking along the same lines as we were as since then, this has arrived and to date has over 87,000 members!

Singing Tesla Coils with a man in a metal suit!

posted 19.03.09 at 4:51pm

Duncan managed to find a man who makes music using a metal suit and controlling electricity through huge tesla coils. I don't really understand how any of this works, but it looks and sounds amazing!

Dog Dog Adventures part 3...

posted 27.02.09 at 1:24pm

Duncan had worried me a bit when he hinted my Granddad might be reading this weeks Dog Dog story, but in the end, Mum was back to read the third instalment! Today, Dog Dog goes swimming, and is luckily a lot less effeminate this time round...

Ben's brother furthers the embarrasment...

posted 23.02.09 at 2:01pm

My mum was away today, so Duncan managed to get my brother to come on the phone and read an addition to the DogDog stories, as well as read out a poem about Light that I wrote at about the same age. It was horrendous... so bad in fact, that my voice goes all high and squeaky at the end...

We also discussed some brilliant stories relating to Religious Predictions and also the marriage of a Toddler and a Dog, though as usual, we went slightly off on a tangent and ended up discussing the west-country accent and witches of eastern european folk lore...
