On this coming Monday (24th October), The Radiolab will be hosting a unique After Dark show in collaboration with All Tomorrow's Parties. All Tomorrow's Parties, known colloquially as ATP, is one of the largest independent concert promoters in the UK and US, as well as having a record label and putting on several festivals annually - held at Butlins - of the same name. The festivals feature a line-up hand picked by curators, ensuring a diverse variety of artists play: previous curators have included everyone from alternative rock giants such as Portishead and Pavement to modern greats such as Animal Collective and Yeah Yeah Yeahs - even Simpsons creator Matt Groening has curated, twice in fact!
ATP is held in extremely high regard by music fans across the globe and we are very excited to be working alongside them as we host the official show for this December's Nightmare Before Xmas festival. More information about the event can be found by clicking the link above but needless to say the line-up is stellar, touching on everything from reformed indie rock bands to Detroit techno DJs, chart-straddling synth pioneers to jazz legends, cutting-edge electronic acts to Syrian disco (no seriously), all helmed by three of the best live acts on the planet: curators Les Savy Fav, Battles and Caribou.
So tune in this Monday from 9-11pm for a very special one-off After Dark vs ATP show with us, The Radiolab, as your hosts. It will be unmissable and you can get involved right here on URN!
