Hijacking the Sports Show Blog to talk about my new favourite sport, Korfball. A dutch version of basketball which is growing in popularity amongst universities, Nottingham Korfball has been bolstered by having former England internationals as coaches and current internationals on the squad. Practising three days a week but still managing to be one of the top teams in the country, a select few of the current korfball teams came to URN to help others learn about the sport, and to have a go at the sports quiz!

On Thursday 10th June The URN World Cup Sweepstake was drawn live on air in our 2-hour World Cup Special show.
