Off The Beat & Track - URN's Weekly Drama Output.
Welcome to Off The Beat and Track, URN's Weekly double dose of drama programming!
We've got a packed schedule for you this term, with everything from Musical Theatre to Oscar Wilde, via Sketches and Improv.
Every other Saturday afternoon, join Conrad Cohen for URN's Musical Theatre show, with a mixture of classics from well known shows along side great songs from new productions.
When Conrad's not on, tune in to URN to hear our Saturday Afternoon Play! This term, it's Oscar Wilde Season on URN, so tune in to hear 'The Importance of Being Earnest' and 'Lady Windemere's Fan' as well as reading of Oscar Wilde's prose and poetry. At the end of term, our Drama Editor, Sam Dodgin, will be presenting a documentary on why Oscar continues to be so popular. If you miss any part of Oscar Wilde Season, you can catch up via our podcast, or tune in the following Sunday to listen again.
Every second Sunday, URN goes comedy crazy, with our sketch show Gag. From the sublime to the ridiculous, Gag promises to be an aural sensation for your ears. Tune in at 2 on a Sunday afternoon.
Alongside all this, listen in every Sunday to hear from Student Improv Nottingham and to find out what going on in the coming week at the New Theatre.
